Linden New Art is currently seeking a Part-Time Curator.

We are seeking a Curator to research, develop and implement our contemporary art exhibition program. The role will reflect our brand values and deliver a new and bold exhibition program featuring work by mid-career artists. We are looking for an energetic, hardworking person that thrives in a small collaborative team environment.

Linden is seeking a person with a broad knowledge of visual arts sector and a passion for curating contemporary art. The role requires some weekend and evening work and may require additional hours to assist with exhibition installation, openings and other events.

VOLUNTEER


Members of the community can become an important part of Linden New Art and contribute to their local arts community.

 

Linden offers volunteers opportunities to gain experience in the field of gallery administration, public programs, events and exhibition openings. Volunteers provide valuable support to gallery staff, exhibiting artists and enhance the visitor experience.

 

Linden has two volunteer programs:

> Volunteers can devote either one day per week or one morning or afternoon/evening per week to assist staff with various administration tasks – we look for assistance on Tuesday to Sunday from 12pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm on Wednesday evenings 

> Casual volunteers who assist us with regular exhibition openings and a range of public programs and events.

INTERNSHIPS


Linden provides a dedicated internship program and these programs run for a three-month period on a one-day per week or full time basis. Our internship program is project based. Preference is given to postgraduate students completing arts management or curatorial studies and those that have completed undergraduate qualifications in the arts.
