The 2016 Linden Art Prize was officially opened by Emma Crimmings, Director, Gertrude Contemporary. The Linden Art Prize is a non-acquisitive contemporary art award established for artists graduating from a Masters Degree or PhD in 2015. The Linden Art Prize celebrated its inaugural year in 2014.
The prizes for the 2016 Linden Art Prize are:

Linden New Art Inc. Board Encouragement Award > $2,000 + tailored mentoring > WINNER: Simon Crosbie
MARS Award > A commercial gallery exhibition at MARS in 2017 > WINNER: Elizabeth Wallace
