Strange Bedfellows > Quantum Mechanics & Bibliotherapy

Strange Bedfellows > Quantum Mechanics & Bibliotherapy

Saturday, 1 September 2018 > 5PM to 6.30PM

Join us for Strange Bedfellows, our new series of talks where we present two guest speakers each discussing a separate topic.

First up, we've got quantum mechanics and bibliotherapy.

Because not many of us really 'get' quantum physics, or even know what bibliotherapy is, we have invited leading physicist Professor Raymond Volkas from the University of Melbourne, along with bibliotherapist Sonya Tsakalakis from The Literary Hand.

The evening will go something like this:
Each of our experts will present about their topics for 20 minutes only. Then it's over to you. Ask a question, any question.

But here's the thing: both speakers must answer your question!

Your question could be about quantum physics or about bibliotherapy - or something totally random just for the fun of it. Let’s see what happens and what interesting connections between these two topics can made.

We have prizes for the quirkiest questions.

This isn’t about art, it’s about what makes these two topics Strange Bedfellows.
