Create the perfect magic trick with the Banana Buster.
Surprise your audience with this seamless magic trick.

Materials
- Banana
- Toothpick or sewing needle
Step 1
- Place the toothpick into the banana
- This will work best along the seam on a dark spot of the fruit
Step 2
- Push the toothpick through the hole and into the banana - pushing back and forth so it touches the edges inside the fruit
- This will cut the banana from the inside
- Be careful not to cut through the skin
- If you want more internal cuts, simply insert the toothpick into another part of the banana
Step 3
- Remove the toothpick
- Tap on the hole to remove any juice or evidence of the hole
- Turn your banana over or put it back in the fruit bowl
- Your banana now appears like normal
Step 4
- When you’re ready to do your magic trick, show your banana to your audience
- Show them that it is a normal banana
- Then do your best karate chop on the banana.
- Remember, you won’t need to actually hit the banana, because it is cut inside
- Do your best pretend karate chop, or simply stare at your banana, using your pretend laser beams to cut the banana with your eyes
Step 5
- Now slowly open your banana
- Tell your audience that the banana is now magically cut in half
- They won’t believe you, so show them by carefully opening your banana
- Tell them your amazing karate chop or laser beam eyes magically cut the banana in half
- Now that's magic!
