While Nell's practice is rooted in the personal - her love of music, knowledge of art history, her Buddhist practice and ongoing
self-reflection - what ties all of her work together is the exploration of a universal concept: the interconnectedness of all individual
elements, and the intrinsic bond between binary opposites.
Nellβs current exhibition ππ‘π πππ¬ πππ«π brings together works spanning fifteen years. Utilising a range of sculptural mediums,
including clam shell and bronze, stainless steel and glass, slate from South Eveleigh, and a found tile from Linden, the artist prompts us
to consider the nuanced and difficult places where binaries intersect and overlap, βthe boundaries between what is considered 'old' and
'new,β as she explains.
Join us for an exhibition closing floor talk and hear from Nell in person about the stories of the making of this exhibition and the central
idea underpinning her artistic process.
