Discover the beauty and importance of our natural environment in this free workshop led by Jen Tran.

Join us for a hands-on experience where young participants will forage for sticks, bark and leaves to make a lizard, kookaburra or wombat sculpture. This workshop will inspire play and creativity with found materials and weaving techniques.

ABOUT OUR FACILITATOR

JEN TRAN

Jen is a designer and maker who engages people of all ages to make and create. As a designer she has worked in theatre, film and television since 2011. Her most recent project is called MaaMaa & Nonna’s Kitchen, where a Chinese grandmother and an Italian grandmother leads children and their carers through a messy and sensorial workshop of making mantao (steamed buns) and focaccia (flat bread). Currently she runs weekly Crafternoon Workshop For Kids at Woods Street Arts Space in Laverton.
