Join Linden New Art curator Juliette Hanson in conversation with multidisciplinary artist Kate Beynon. Find out more about Kate’s new solo exhibition The Shapeshifter’s Hour, and the diverse interests that have inspired her work, including fashion, surrealism and the supernatural. Drawing on her Cantonese-Malaysian, Celtic and Nordic ancestries, Kate explores cross-cultural stories and mythologies through the creation of guardian figures and magical creatures. The exhibition includes textile soft-sculptures, paintings and an animation created in collaboration with Kate’s son, emerging artist Rali Beynon and her husband Michael Pablo.
