Crafternoon for Kids > String Figures with Louisa Bufardeci

In this fun workshop for kids, artist Louisa Bufardeci will teach a range of string figures inspired by her current exhibition Figuring. This workshop will introduce kids to string figure classics such as Cat’s Whiskers, Jacob’s Ladder and The Broom. The rules will be thrown away as kids will be encouraged to practice playfully, making up their own figures and seeing what images can be created. Kids will learn how to create these figures by themselves and with others, teaching skills in collaboration while also teaching kids the dexterity of their imaginations and fingers.

The workshop will be run as a drop-in session and kids are encouraged to stay as long or as little as they like.
