Be bold
This is an exhibition of sixteen new works by Nicole Newman. These small-scale sculptures are intended to be somewhat of a puzzle to the viewer. Handcrafted Perspex boxes contain intricately silver-smithed forms from the natural world and the artist’s imagination. The works contain hidden messages engraved in Yiddish and multiple layers of meaning to be found in the combination of words, visual puns and surreal imagery.
