At Linden New Art, we are dedicated to fostering a vibrant cultural community through a diverse range of public programming. These
initiatives focus on community engagement and education through outreach and strong partnerships with like-minded organisations.
As part of our commitment to contemporary artistic practice, we recognise that our public programs serve as tools to deepen and broaden engagement with artists, their practices, and the ideas that drive their work. Our programs equip participants with a range of skills and knowledge, empowering them to engage more deeply with contemporary art and fostering lasting connections with the artists and their works. Linden is an organisation focused on conversation, and these public programs are actions designed to stimulate discourse.
Our Public Programs are guided by three key pillars: Linden Creates, which features masterclasses, workshops, and term-long programs, Linden Plays, offering workshops and activities tailored for kids and families to foster fun and interactive learning experiences; and Linden Learns, thought-provoking exhibition-related lectures and talks that deepen our collective understanding of contemporary art.
We prioritise access and inclusion in all our public programs, recognising that these principles are essential to creating an equitable and vibrant cultural community. In addition to our program of events, we have developed several initiatives under the banner of Community Programs to directly address exclusion and the specific needs of certain communities. By championing diverse voices and fostering a sense of belonging for everyone, we strive to create an inclusive environment where all community members feel valued and engaged.
